That's the one. I was the Marine Applications Coordinator for Suzuki Canada for 5 years.
We had it built for our dealer meeting in Ottawa.
I ran 4 different motors on it and it spent the summer at my in-laws cottage in Muskoka.

How did it run? What did you try on it for power?

Started with a Suzuki DF300 4-stroke, ran about 74 mph. Engine was a x long shaft, too deep for the boat.
When we first got the boat it went down the lake on the starboard side, wouldn't sit on the pad. Took it back to Dave, he
fine tuned it and it ran nice and level.
Ran a 250 x long shaft for a while just to do oil consumption tests.
Had a 200 hp 20" shaft on it, ran 59 ish.
Then, I put a DF250SS on, hit 80 mph, a bit of chine walk, not bad though. That boat and motor combo loved
a bit of chop and ran like a scared rabbit. American Suzuki designed the engine for the bass boat market.
The DF250SS is a 300 hp block, 20" transom, with a high speed lower unit. I was running a 4 x 14.5 x 29 prop.
The dash that is in it now is not the original one, Dave changed that out for us as well. I have got lots of photos. I may even have all the old performance tests kicking around some where.
