Tough call...Looks like someone tried to make a good boat but after looking at these pics I'm left with more questions than answers.
The center pod looks to be even with the sponsons.
I'm no marine engineer but shouldn't the pod be lower than the sponsons to aid in lift and free the boat up?
Someone with more knowledge in these matters please chime in.
Regardless, she has potential and lots of room.

Re: grinding cracks
Go out there after dark with a bright light and wax marker
Have someone light up the inside of the hull, you'll see the cracks then trace em on the outside
If you sand / strip the outside first, cracks become harder to see

the center pod is lower than the sponsons, then it steps down the last few feet its even with the sponsons.,,. maby for stability?, skiing? dunno id like to find out,.., my buddy said it looks like someone spent alott of time on it and gave up,, also said it had a shitty paint job, the entire top shell is getting stripped and re-filled and primed white, i'll touch up the bottom and keep it red for now, .. i also have alott of bad repairs to grind out and do right, tons of bondo under some cracks , im also thinking of wether i want to split the hull or not,, i think i can get away with leaving it together,,
