Update from after the meeting:
They've been approached by town officials in Gravenhurst about bringing races back there in August.
Valois submitted his application for a permit at Del Crary Park for Sept. 13 & 14 following a meeting with Peterborough Mayor Jeff Leal.
“If we can get a permit in April or May I have no problem hosting an event in September here in Peterborough.”
They required $10 million liability coverage in 2019 which cost $10,000 for two days.
Valois secured sponsorship to cover insurance costs since they don't charge spectator admission fees and they don't want to increase the registration fees for racers as it's an expensive enough sport as it is
