1 Hulls will be limited to flat, V bottom and tunnel. No hydro or outrigger style hulls.
2 Boat must meet all ODBA safety regulations, battery and fuel tank secured (bolted or strapped)
lifeline or equivalent, working fire extinguisher within reach of driver, driver must be seat and steering
wheel only, no tiller style motors, hulls must have means of strapping for weighing.
3 Any fuel, no alcohol, no additives, no nitro methane
4 Timing computers controllers allowed
5 No power adders (NOS turbo blowers etc.)
6 3 cylinder engines only and limited to 86 ci, must have been production fishing outboard before
modifications (60 sst OMC allowed) lower units must be of the shiftable type and may have low water
pickup attached, mismatching of brands between powerhead and lower unit allowed, any midsection
and trim allowed.
7 90 Yamaha min. weight 880 lbs.
40 Mercury min. weight 700 lbs.
42ci-44ci 700 lbs
45ci-62ci 800 lbs
63ci-86ci 880 lbs

7) You need enough fuel for the entire class. No refueling after race starts. 8 oz. fuel

8) If someone gets a buy run that boat still needs to make a complete pass.

Bore will be checked through spark plug hole.

MOD 40 Class1) Any original factory 2 or 3-cylinder 40-60 HP fishing motor.
2) Must be 60 CI or lower.
3) Powerhead, midsection can be safely modified.
4) Lower unit can be modified-must be shiftable. Nosecones allowed, must have
been a production outboard lower unit before modifications.
5) No Quicksilver racing lower units.

**Small bore <45 CI boat and driver =700 lbs. minimum
MOD 90 Class1) -Any original factory 3 cylinder up to 90 HP fishing motor up to 72 CI.
-From 72.1 CI and up to 80 CI will need to add 100 lbs. for a total minimum
weight 960 lbs.
-No motors allowed over 80 CI.
-This weight will be adjusted as needed to keep fair racing.

5. Motors:
a. 3-cylinder engine only to maximum 86 cubic inch. (Must have been a
production available engine prior to modifications, 60SST permitted)
b. No tiller style steering
c. Ignition timing computers, controllers or like, permitted
d. Any midsection and trim permitted
e. Gearcase must be shiftable from Drivers seat. F-N
f. Low water pickup, nose cone permitted
g. 24V systems permitted
h. Trim computers mandatory with 24V trim. (Must be outboard purposebuilt approved by Safety/Tech with 12V control circuit.)
i. Any Gasoline permitted (No Alcohol, Nitromethane, etc.)
j. No nitrous oxide systems or power adders
k. Class rules may change at any time to allow for equality and growth

The rules are simple.
3 Cyl Outlaw/Unlimited
1. Any production 3cyl outboard
2. Any hull
3. Any modifications
4. Any power adder
5. Must pass all safety requirements.
BOTTOM LINE IS READ THE RULES AND DECIDE WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO RUN ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT TO RUN ADDITIONAL RACES WITH ANOTHER ASSOCIATION!!
