We have a limited boat count for this event, folks.
18 boat maximum!! No more will be offered per day.
Event coordinators will not make any exceptions.

Please let us know who wants to race.
We have 3 Outlaw boats going.
Brings us to 15 spots available.
There is a rumour of another Outlaw boat, but we will wait and see what happens.

So lets plan on 14 available spots for Lake Racer and Formula (with one in reserve).
You can comment here or PM me and I will get you booked for the race.
This will be a first come first served situation, to keep it fair to all.

Hotels are filling up fast!! There are campsites available for those interested.

Get your memberships and let us know!!

UPDATE - Racers who have committed to date:

GREEN lines are registered racers who are in for Rideau.

Currently there are some spots open for registry. All racers on the list have submitted interest but have yet to register.
PLEASE let OPBRA know and register for Rideau Ferry if you plan to race. It's less than two weeks away.

Registration forms have been sent out to the first round of participants.
OPBRA is in a tough position only being able to present 18 boats.
As you can see we are at 19 committed boats right now, not including John B, Marc S and Alex V(Boomer)
This is fantastic!! Keep working on those boats folks. Peterborough is right on the heels of this event.
We do have an option of splitting days if desired and/or need be.
PLEASE FORWARD YOUR COMPLETED REGISTRATION TO RIDEAU FERRY AS WELL AS OPBRA
It may come down to who registered first for the boat count.

Please contact me for your registration forms.
Be sure to get your OPBRA and CBF memberships up to date.

I still think I can be put in the Formula Class. Yes the 200XS is built by Mercury HP. So is a 225PM which makes more HP then a 200XS. If it is deemed I dominate this class, then I will gladly except a promotion to Lake Racer and allow the 2nd place boat in Formula to be points leader. After all it looks like you need numbers for the Formula class. I am really not up to spending $1000+ for the weekend and being on the trailer after two races. If we want to grow the sport, I think we need evaluate what or who grows our sport. If we are missing ski boats in the formula class, this needs to be evaluated too. I know there are some ski boats that are not coming out anymore. This is very unfortunate. Please consider. Thx.

No reason why you should not be put in to Formula class.

What hull is the 200XS motor on? That's a motor I have long wanted and long been afraid of.

Anthony, your race boat, and a few others, are under review by the BOD and Race Committee of OPBRA.
Your OPBRA guidelines are for all competitors but also include a fair competition clause.
We will take this offline and discuss very soon.
