I have seen a few events posted on other sites. Does anyone have a copy of the rules?

I'll get them from one of the guys in DSRA.
They ran in Morgan City this past weekend.

I'd be curious to see that too. I saw the post on BRF.

Apparently it ran as a demonstration class.
There's been strong interest and they're going to be establishing a set of rules for the class during thier annual rules meeting.

I like this. Unlimited would be fun to build for... Outlaw could get out of control really quick on the wallet even when you can make your own parts. Do they really get the numbers to support all these classes or is that just to see where interest is?

Looking at the pictures on the site there are no modified boats pictured. There appears to be mostly 50 hp stuff. I did not see any boat weighs listed. Most popular are the river and Jon boats. I think they are seeing where the interest is at this point. IF? Drag wanted to include T in their classes then T could decide what rules they wanted. Some people currently not racing in T may want to just drag race instead. Provided drag wants to look at 3 cylinder drag as a new class, I suggest you initially make the class simple to allow as many entries as possible. I would have weight limits. The bigger the power the more weight.
