So now that the same person has won and is 100% undefeated in FORMULA it was suggested to post a weight break for all others by adding 150lbs to Northbase's XR2002 FORMULA boat.

Let the FORMULA discussion begin

This is nothing new and is standard across all forms of "heads up" racing.

Just my thoughts.

I'm against weighing Formula until there are more boats in the class. Greg's boat is at the top of the food chain here and not really the average formula boat.

The few boat's we have are chipping away to be competitive, but is that the idea of Formula?

Yes it is still drag racing and competition is the goal but if you are looking to attract lake/ski boats etc attract the boats first.

To slow Greg down lol i will ride in his boat with him, less than 150 lol

It's not competition if the same boat wins every pass , every race for two years.

As much as the attraction and draw is good the same boat winning is hurting the boat draw as well. Or could be.

This is nothing new to create parity.

The opposed side of that discussion is that Greg is a very experienced driver in a competitive boat.
As such, Greg has set the bar high.
There are boats out there that can run with him, they just have to come out.
Maybe a little incentive would help that cause.
My 2 cents

Just not sure what that incentive would be for those boats ?

And yes you are right about Greg's Allison for sure but we have the boats we have and a little parity would be nice. I hope Garth keeps coming as an addition to you all that continue to show for sure.

We have to find a way to get Rick Bryck's 200 powered Allison SS out there too. Could have a nice 8 boat field for Haliburton.

What about talking to Tom Watson ?

I'm still hoping to make a race this season, gunning for this class. We need more boats, that's all there is to it. Personally, I'm not discouraged that Greg is running the way he is. He has built a boat that follows the formula "formula" and is driving the balls off it. I think Ryan with the black Viper will be a class contender with some more seat time and setup as well, there's a lot more in that boat for sure....
