Would have much rather been at West Lake this weekend great weather and from the pictures looked like a great time next year for sure :D . I was working on the Charger getting it ready for Dunnville managed to get the jackplate I goty from idvette install and changed the lower unit I got from Rowboat. Did a few other things like hooked the foot throttle back up and going to fab a drag plate. Does anybody have some thoughts on motor height for drag racing? Hope to see some more Formula boats in Dunnville :) I still have a extra motel room for Friday and Saterday night if anybody is interested please let me know as soon as possible.

That's a big change, should help a lot over last time you ran it. What prop will you be running?

Hi idvette hope all is well with the new job and the move. I will be running a 22 chopper I got from Boomer the boat seemed to like it :D the 24 seemed to be a little to much last time hope to get out on Simcoe on Thursday to do some testing if I get evrything put back together.

With the drag plate, jack plate and coned lower unit you'll notice a big difference. I wouldn't be surprised if you find the 22 too small. I run a 24 on mine and I'm spinning well over 7000 rpm with it. To be fair, I haven't raced yet, so I can't say for sure, but I think with some testing you'll find a 24 or 26 suits your setup better

Good call with getting some weight off the back and with the plate and the cone the 24 may be the way to go I left the 26 at the cottage :( hope I can talk someone in Barrie into going out for a run on Thursday after work :D
