As of now I know of 3 that will be racing.
Myself, John Archer & Ted Bigelow.
There's usually another 8-12 that go down for moral support.
Most of us stay at the Hampton Inn in Kimball.

Well Kenny, if you must know......
RBT & I spent last weekend finishing up my monster motor.
Got break in time on it during the week and had a break in the weather today so I decided to see how it would run......balls out.
It ran awesome!!
Rediculous holeshot and pulled like a freight train, way harder then in Haliburton......and this was with the extra 120lbs I need to make weight for pro mod.
Then the top main bearing let go.....big time!
Not sure why.
Just spent the last 2 1/2 hours tearing it down.
Hope to get a new bearing pressed on the crank tomorrow.
Finish cleaning it all up and, fingers crossed, put it back together tomorrow night.
Fire it up and drive it Tuesday afternoon......
Leave for Jasper on Wednesday morning.

Good luck at the races guys!
Northbase, I feel your pain. I've put an engine together a few times the night before a race. At one point I was thinking of having "Last Minute Racing" printed on my boat. Sounds like you did ok for bearing letting go though.

We are tested (mainly) for both Lake Racers and just have minor tweaking to test and to test props on the clock during actual course testing.
