Culprit wrote: any ideas what it weighs, what's the history on it? I will tell you about the boat. They can tell you the history of that boat. The boat was designed and originally built in Florida to race in an OPC class called SSV [Super Stock V bottom] They ran SST 60 motors with a 950 lb boat, motor, driver weight. In the later years the boat was contracted to Rapid Craft by the Baker [Jeff] family to build the boats. Rapid Craft was well known for their Mod VP 19 to 22 foot boats. Most of these boats were composite and had no wood it them to rot. The bare boat weight is approximately 225 lbs. The hull of the boat is a Critchfield. The deck and cell are Baker designed. They make an excellent T Boat. You need to modify the cell in order to race. That is an easy fix. Scott Whittington race the same hull except Scott's was a Florida built boat not a Rapid Craft, so it was heavier. |

You are right Don. This boat is a composite construction. I have owned it for about four years now. I purchased it from the Wyatt family on Six Mile who brought it up fron the USA. |
