I like the open cockpit. Pull out the buckle seat, put in a VooDoo style bench, and cruise the Trent with my wife like we used to

How fast would that boat run? Would it plane with two people and the short shaft engine?

I imagine it would run like a regular Critch/Voodoo/Delta...60's. I don't think getting on plane would an issue with 2.

Its a buddy of ours. He is selling his cottage next to ours and is now selling the boat.

We put the package together for him. Bought the boat from a member on here, rewired the lights and bilge pump, cut the transom height down and added the aluminum plates to clean it all up, new allison bucket seats, 24 raker.

Engine was painted/decaled to be a hustler. 1985 70hp 49ci powerhead, pro 50 yamaha trim. Runs extremely strong, I ran this motor on our delta before the sst60.

It is a great driving boat and will plane with two people. If i recall it ran 60 on the water pressure speedo, about 55-56mph on gps. It is not a race layup or a light lay up. The boat is very solid in comparison to our potato chip delta. There may be more speed left in it with more setup.
