I am looking for one of these....even the complete motor.

Here is one:

The problem with running a T750 SHORT SHAFT Mercury is the factory power trim. The only factory late model style trim bracket were on these models...40 hp 4 cylinder.

EMAIL: The 4 cylinder mercury would not be as good as the 3 cylinder 60 hp.

That 15 inch mid is the same mid used on the 60 hp. The 60 has the 60 base plate to mount the triple.
There are several versions of the 49 cubic inch triple. Prior to 1975 and the OMC Nitro case, the mercury was very competitive in FE. After the appearance of the Delta hull you didn’t see any twin carb mercury’s in FE only the 650XS. The XS was not an easy model to maintain and keep running so many lake runners ran twin carb models on their delta.
It was said that those early twin carb triples ran low 60 mph on delta hulls.....hard to prove without GPS.
I do think it is possible, but, you definitely need the 150 compression high dome pistons in the motor and a good exhaust tuner.

INTERESTING TIMING!

I'm not parting out. I want to sell everything at once. No time yet to itemize.

$2000.00 seems fair to me.
I believe there's three fully assembled ready to go 15" lower units with both [1.6, 1.8]gear ratios, and enough parts to build at least one more engine complete and 1 complete motor. I know there's a control box cables, a very custom hydraulic side steering setup and some power trim stuff. There's even a complete long shaft with power trim that had blown a piston included. Might even be a new decal set.
