I'm looking for a Malhe Piston for my 2.5 245hp carb motor (starboard side) The locating pin for the ring is loose on one of my pistons. I guess the other option could be getting this piston "top pinned" .. I believe the Mahle is considered light weight because it is 95-grams lighter than the factory Merc piston I checked it against, Also the upper rod pin is shorter than a factory pin (weight??) If anyone has one or can direct me to a local Mahle dealer or machine shop that could top pin this for me, or have any suggestions feel free to advise.
