Have a voodoo with a yamaha 90. Need a nice over the hub
Prop to get this thing moving. Best ive see is 56mph at 4900rpm with a 24" laser 2. UNACCEPTABLE!

Any suggestions? I hear the yamaha drags work well

Call Chris Spaeth. He has a Voo Doo with a 90 Yamaha. High 60's I think

For what it's worth, your numbers don't work in a prop calculator. Negative slip.

I would think a 26-28 overhub would work. Allison boats has two small ear chopper for sale, 26 and 28. That might get your pitch dialed in. I used to get shit here about my small ear choppers, but for the money I still like them. Yamaha drag or ET would probably be better and probably cost more.

I don't think the Yamaha drag prop is necessarily the best prop for the job...Jordan ran one on his because that's all we had at the time. I'd try a small diameter cleaver or the small ear chopper or the ET (Like David said). All of those props are likely easier to find than the Yamaha prop anyway. Jack the motor and keep the bow down so you can see the horizon lol.

I had a 21 cleaver shipped from california. Hub was too big for the gearcase. So still shopping. Let me know if you hear of anything. I will buy it! I talked to paul about the mike guys(forget last name) eho ran over 70 with a yammy 90 and he said yamaha drag as well

How many rpm can a 90 Yamaha turn? 2:1 gears? I don't think 21 will do it.

It would need a new hub, but I have a 23 DAH SRX. It is 13 spline now. Used twice. If 23 was enough it might work.
