Todd will tweak the prop for your application. For example the 29 Quad 4 he tuned for my SS 2000 would be wrong for your Checkmate

Todd has a plan and we're going to try to connect when he is in Gravenhurst on Thursday before Haliburton. Is that at one of your places? I will speak to him again on the Tuesday before.

I've got a few you could try.
Lemme know what ya need.

Hi there,

Probably the best would be to chat on the phone, but I definitely welcome the offer! I'll send you a PM and describe the below:

To give you an overview, we have never tried any over hub exhaust prop., which would be interesting, but difficult to come by for "tests." I don't know if the boat is too heavy for them or not, as we have always needed some degree of PVS holes on the through-hub. With that in mind, I think right now just about anything in the 28+ pitch range may be viable. Early on I thought that the Rakers would be the key. We had success with them, but once we raised the motor we ran into big issues. I'll most a few examples below, people can see some fun:

Raker I/II 26/28 pitch, 75mph blowout is a problem, have to be very careful coming out of the hole or it will over ventilate and fail to plane.
Trophy 26 - too low pitch
Trophy 28 - good all around propeller, but still running out of RPMs. A 30 pitch trophy may be ideal, or a 28 trophy with larger wings.
Solas Scorpion 28 (3 blade labbed) - It is the best speed propeller. We end up having to floor it with a bunch of cavitation to get out of the hole, but it will pull 3 adults, 20 gallons of gas and a slalom skier.
Bravo XS 30p labbed - was very similar to the Solas, may be better out of the hole, but it had the big hole and it was too much. It broke. A new XS with the 2 PVS holes may be better configurable
Bravo 1 30p labbed - This was very nice out of the hole, but had worse top speed than the trophy. We had to trim it to the moon to get speed, but it was very stable. The bow lift may need to be present to get top speed and maybe this does not have it.
John is going to send a 28p something that we'll try.

Hey Matt I've been messing with My Pulsare for a while now, maybe I can help with set up. Where are you at set back and height wise? Where are you at speed wise? What rpm does it like to turn and what's your lower unit ratio?
