This class has been part of the UIM F1 series for a few years. The class is raced in other countries, but hasn’t caught on in North America in APBA. The largest small tunnel class here is SST 45 and it’s number of entries have decreased. SST 60 has basically become a regional class in Twin City.
Two stroke outboards are still the preferred power in Stock Outboard Racing and efforts to get 4 stroke engines into the SO classes or start new classes are not making much progress.
Here is a F4 race from a drivers seat. Compare the ride to other driver seat rides. That maybe one reason why the class hasn’t caught on over here.
