lets talk here. What are negatives/positives to using brass? I realize it's not as hard as stainless, but why wouldn't someone race with one? |

Honestly, I haven't tried it for fear of wrecking gears in my lower unit because it has a good weight to it. On a 750 motor I would try it since there's lots of gears around for them. It might be fine. I know the prop was made for the Formula E class from doing some research on the net. I should just go ahead and try it. Probably being paranoid. The blades aren't super thick or anything but the hub is pretty thick and that's where a lot of the weight is coming from. If someone wants to try it out, I'm happy to lend it. It weighs about 7.5lbs and my Titus is 3.6lbs. |
