Looks like 1x19. Not very flexible. Steering cable should be 7x19. Do any t boats run synthetic like Amsteel, dyneema or spectra? Far stronger, lighter, tie knots in it and it floats. |

I haven't tried the synthetic cable. I use the nylon coated clear clothes line type. I have ordered hardware from these guys too. http://www.portagebaysystems.com/marine.htm Also, Rick Fralick usually has an abundance of hardware at the TORC races. Dave. |

See what Top Gun has in stock, he has provided us with the majority of our rigging on the past two boats. Lee at Machined Componets http://machinedcomponents.net/pages/gal ... leys60.php has some really nice stuff as well, I've picked up a couple of things from him lately and he's really good to deal with. I get my pullies that I run at the wing plates and under the deck (for the delta) as well as the string steering online from The Chandlery in Ottawa. A link string steering we run https://www.thechandleryonline.com/prod ... ts_id=9842 |
