My buddy died in a train wreck earlier this year. He bought my 1977 Grew with a newer 60 Johnson in 1993. I used the motor a lot when I had it, about 3 years. Since then, my friend scarcely used the boat and motor. Both have sat in the back field behind the family cottage for a long time. What's the motor worth? Someone in the family has bought a replacement boat, and sooner or later they will want the boat out of the back field. My theory is they should sell the motor first and then take the boat/trailer to the dump. Actually the boat might be fixable. The floor was replaced, but then left uncovered for years. The seats are gone.
