THIS IS NOT A SHORT SHAFT. It is a 19 inch. The gear case on it fits perfect on a long shaft 70 hp yamaha. The seller will sell it for $600.00. IF you have a 70 yamaha long you can buy it, switch gear cases and re sell the 60 Mariner with the big foot on it. The 60 Mariner with the big foot is excellent as a pontoon motor or a work boat motor. BUT, that motor as is, is perfect for a T750 old style VooDoo. It fits flat on the 24 in transom and is the perfect engine height. Low cost outfit Doug for your son to race.
Also, the long shaft 70, to 90 hp power trim bolts right on.
