Ok, so here it is... gotta let it go befor I can make a serious run at a faster boat.

It’s a 1988 18 Foot Super Sidewinder with a 1988 Mercury Black Max (2.4l) 200hp.

The Boat: She is no dock queen but very solid with excellent gel coat. The gel on the deck (bow) is starting to fade a little from the sun but nothing a little buffing and wax wouldn’t bring back. Like I said it’s not a dock Queen, there are some scratches from dock rash and age but overall the boat is in VERY good condition. Could use a good cleaning.
I few years back I replaced the transom with a composite filler called Seacast. (feel free to look it up) The transom is hard as a rock and because it is no longer wood it will never rot.

The Motor: Runs very strong with almost 130psi across all 6.

The Trailer: Shorelander (I think), single axel, bunk trailer. Quite new with very little miles on it.

Boat and Motor come with Hot Foot, Dual Cable Steering, Land & Sea (4” setback) Hydraulic Jack Plate (a little slow and old but still works), Clarion CDM4 Stereo head unit and 4 – 6” Marine Speakers. (2 Clarion and 2 Panasonic), full custom Snap down mooring cover in excellent shape. Blue Top Optima Marine Battery, Battery shut-off switch, full thick rubberized storage cover. (cover says LOWE, but fits the Sidewinder like it was meant to be)
Gauges: Fuel, Tach, Water Pressure (installed 2011), Speedo (not working – never accurate anyways, use a GPS), Trim, Temp. The pic I enclosed of the dash was taken prior to the Water Pressure gauge and the Hydraulic lift. – Sorry, IPOD does not come with boat .

It’s a great package for a 1988 Sidewinder. You won’t find many of this model in pretty decent shape like it is.
I purchased the Boat from the second owner who only had it for one season. The original owners were older and used the boat once a year when the kids came to the cottage to ski. I was told when I purchased the boat (2006)that there might be 50 hours on the whole package. They kept the boat in a boat house, in water all summer.
From 2006 to 2009 it was trailered to my rental cabin in the beginning of summer (pulled out of water every weekend) and trailered home where I stored it in-doors all winter.
From 2009 to present it stays at my (newly purchased) cottage all year around. Summer months it stays on a hydraulic boat lift out of the water and covered and stored under a car-port for the winter.

I paid over 10k for the boat and have put in over 10k with upgrades and maintenance since I have owned it (have almost all the receipts).
I think $7500 would be a very fair price.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. I don’t care to hide anything.

The were great colour combos with the solid and flake...
Mine has the same design as that but solid Black and white with a red pin stripe between the 2.
Ive got most of the Sidewinder brochures from '69 to 89.
