There has been some talk of the Barracuda on here lately so i thought i would see if there is any interest in my 1977 Barracuda transom is solid and the floor was replaced 4 years ago by Stelray Boats. The deck has been painted and there are no seats or gauges. It has ride guide steering older set up but works. It sits on an older trailer with new rubber and brg buddies. I can't post pic's from my phone but will try later tonight. I can email or text pic's if wanted Thanks Mercrazy |

For those who may not know Stelray boats is owned by Peter who along with his brother Jake owned Kennedy boats. Many of the race venues in the mid 70's were large bodies of water. The 14 was competitive in those races, Kennedy would loan a boat to a racer to race and promote their boats. The boat building materials were not as light or as strong compared to to-day. Some of the decks were very thin to save weight. The 1975 model 49 stinger in FE was so good that the 4 cylinder class for Mercury 80 hp FG and SG disappeared. Many FG boats were 14 foot models. As the boat counts dropped in FG. Many events ran FG with FE. The races were fun to watch. |

I remember watching those boats race in the 70's. My next door neighbours had one and I wanted one bad. Sorry but after all this time I don't need one. |
