Critchfield Race boat 75hp short shaft

Well, I bought this off Don because I really wanted a Critchfield. Before I bought the boat, I had my eye on another Critch but never heard back from the guy. Because I'm impulsive, I just had to have one and Don sold me this boat and trailer without a motor. After I bought it, the guy with the other boat got back to me and has some extra parts as well to sell with it that I want. I'm planning to pick it up this week and I will not need two of them lol. When I started putting this together I had originally planned on putting a 56ci powerhead on it so the holes on the mid are cleared, the area on the mid where the 56ci adapter plate interferes is ground out and a solid upper mount was made to bolt on the stinger steering arm that I will include which will make a 56ci an easy bolt on conversion. The motor has solid lower mounts on it and has a stock 49ci 75hp powerhead on it that runs well. Compression reads about 130-135psi each cylinder. It has a nitro lower unit that is in very nice shape and doesn't leak any oil. It was the first one I had on the Rapid Craft before I put together the one I have on it now. Boat has through hull trim and the paint is in nice shape. I'm sure Don could tell you a lot more about the boat than I could. Don would only sell the boat to someone who was going to race it and I am planning to do the same thing. Price for the boat, motor and trailer (no prop) is $5000.
