If it's a Baker I can speak to the extremely light layup.
Mine had a deck like a credit card (not that that's bad) and yes, core and stringers for strength in a minimalist way.
Lots of room to add a bit of mass for additional strength without being too heavy.
Gonna be a good ride, have fun.

he couldn't deliver today,, so hopefully it arrives tomorrow,, tom and motoboat i cant wait to get into this rig..thanks for the info i'v been searching the web and cant seem to dig up too much info on baker, stoker, taylor,sleekcraft, there is the odd one around, and lotts of jet drives..,. I am in love with this boat already, same year as my excel, same era as my buddys tv, should be fun :) :D :mrgreen:

its on its way now should be here within the hour,, now tom cat and wild cat,, Great links links, thank you ,, but now im having these crazy thought about a 16" mid and truck load of excel powerheads to play with, :D , would this hull fit in at the torc races?
