I hope everyone got the cobwebs dusted off last weekend since Gravenhurst is just a few weeks away!

The Muskoka Powerboat Races Presented by the Gravenhurst Tim Hortons will be at Gull Lake Park in Gravenhurst June 27-28.
We welcome all stock and mod hydroplanes/runabouts, T-boats, and drags.

The racing will be from 10am-5pm both Saturday and Sunday with announcing from Ted Abel, Brian Sherriff, and special guests to be announced. Saturday's awards will be handed out at the dinner/after party at Hunter’s shop (1088 Sedore rd., Gravenhurst).

We will be hosting the third annual John Webster memorial BCH race on Saturday so break out your poppers, throw the lumber under them, and bring on the competition!

Tim Hortons will be on site again with free coffee for the racers and will be taking donations to support the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation.

The Ontario Watercross Racing Association will be back again to put on some water demos during the intermissions! They made quite the impression across Ontario last year so lets see what they bring to us this year! Check them out athttp://www.ontariowatercrossracing.com/

There will be free camping at the Hunter's shop at 1088 Sedore rd. Gravenhurst Friday, Saturday, and even Sunday night if needed. There is a bathroom with a shower on site. First come first serve for the hydro hookups. There will also be a TORC dinner on the Saturday for the racers and crew and we will even have a band so don’t miss it! A hat will be going around for donations to pay the fees for the band.

There is also free camping at Greg Keeling’s place. Contact him for details.

We are still looking for someone to watch the gate on the far end of the park and for someone to be a sound technician for the weekend. These would be great jobs for high school kids looking for community hours. We also usually pay people to do these jobs. If anyone has any leads then please get a hold of me since I would rather help a boat racer out, rather than pay some random person to do it.

I want to thank Will Hunter, for taking on his home town site again, organizing another upcoming FANTASTIC year at GH.
With the greatest respect, I remember first meeting Will 5-6 years ago as a shy snot nosed kid with a turkey painted on his first ASH/10XS hydro, to becoming a straight up solid man with a firm handshake, open smile, and takes ownership to get shit done.
Every year GH gets better, runs smooth, new features(eg: Water Cross), sponsors assured their name is associated with a great event, thanks to Will.

Want to thank Hunter Family generosity for hosting the club at their shop for several years, again in 2015 & as sponsor.
Big Thanks to Keeling household as well for generously opening their doors to the usual liars and drunks & as sponsor. NB can custom fit cement boots for your enemies,...knows where Jimmy Hoffa buried.
Finally, thanks to all our other sponsors, most perennial, for supporting TORC financially and with logistics to put on a financially viable race and show for audience.

Cheers, see y'all in a couple of days. Dawn moon will be rising over Kashe:)
