This group are very good at promoting new classes. Their HOBBY CLASS is something we have tested in our T750. Remember Jake running his 70 hp Checkmate. Twin City has a number of V Bottom classes. Maybe TOO MANY! We will watch and see how many entries they get. http://tcpba.org/?page_id=73 |

Here is an example of a Hobby type boat. http://www.kijiji.ca/v-powerboat-motorb ... nFlag=true You add a $500.00 70 hp long shaft motor and your good to go. There are lots of this type hulls around. CHEAP projects and they are a lot of fun for the money. You are NOT building a light race boat. These end up as 47 to 52 mph boats. Easy to drive. old Sidewinders old Checkmates old Bajas old Kennedys plus all the clone copies. |
