Noobie memebership promotion: CBF offers first Rookie season membership at $50.00,...if I'm not mistaken. This was previously offered to assist Noobie's racing in a year when they have addititional expenses(eg: safety equipment).

The idea behind this promotion is simple. I want the people that have T750 boats to show up at Waterford and TRY IT!. There is no pressure on you to race competitively. You do not have to pay any money. You only have to have your boat pass inspection. We loan you the safety gear. You get to mix with the racers from all the classes and see the FAMILY side of the sport. The hope is that you will enjoy the event and join the group. You may find being a support helper at events works for you. It is a WIN-WIN. It is all about having FUN!

Well the bad news was no new T750 showed the take advantage of the free offer. The good news is we had 6 T750 boats on Saturday including the first time running of the tohatsu. Todd offered to be the first pilot . He finished both heats. The set up is way off and I will have it running better at Gravenhurst. Jake is smoking fast. Thom's motor is the best sounding 45 cubic inch OMC I have ever heard. The 49 Mercury looked like it is competitive. We must of had some start jumpers in T850 on Saturday. Think it was Kevin, LC and Jake the top 3 finishers. Dave Esley had a big lead in heat one only to blow up on the third lap. I believe Thom won T750 Sunday and Dave and Junior did well in T850. Hope someone posts results.

Dave Elsey's motor actually didn't blow up, the timing linkage round plastic ball broke in two, linkage fell off, timing flopped around, EGT's went wild.
All is OK, ran great Sunday. Ran 70.3 MPH on the course. 8-)
