My old fake wood sided 1976 Pioneer receiver gave up the ghost a couple of years ago. I could have had it repaired, but I bought a new Yamaha receiver instead. 1970's stereo equipment, just like your dad. I wonder if I'm as old... As for learning, I'd buy a clean 2.6L 225 Yamaha tomorrow if there was one in Windsor. I expect I'll stumble across a Promax before I find a Yammy though. I am extremely time limited which will restrict the buying process.. |
