Dubber is getting a mild M.R.S. 2.6 Yamaha. They are assembling over the next couple days. He is finally doing his boat some justice.

Very Cool. That is a beautiful boat.
So are we sharing details on this project?
ie what is mild? was the motor just getting tired? ect :?:

I'll let him fill us all in... But that turd he has been running for years is the most sloth like of all Yamaha 200's. This year his motor should look and run like the boat would.

cool!

more pics of the build and expected results would be great.

What compression are you shooting for?
Jets? Reeds?
any other goodies?

Congrats Dubbs!

We'll take some pics as the build progresses...after we're done discussing the state of the boating world in general.

Tom we're shooting for a strong stockish 225. The block is port matched to the sleeves, CCM reeds and coated vertex pistons. Nothing super crazy because the 225 is already close to the limit for pump fuel as it is and this is a "family" boat for Dubs...so torque and reliability are key.
