So, I bought Pats old Vector. The boat is structurally sound. It had a new vacuum baged core, stringers and floor in 2001. It has been quite well preserved and doesn't need too much work really. I'm going to flip it over and do some work on the hull and i'm planning to paint the whole boat. I won't be getting at it until the spring, but I thought I would let you guys know. My initial thought was to put a 2.4 200 Merc on it, but I thought a 235 omc crossflow might be cool too? I plan to run it in Formula Drag. I'm looking foward to having a fun lake boat again |

Thanks Brent. It's been too long. Running beside the T3 is a good visual. Can't wait! Dave. |

Also, getting an OMC would be cool, but the boats already rigged for a Merc and has some nice Mercury Guages too. I never would have considered an OMC before, but they have grown on me over the years. I do have an extra set of OMC controls though... hmmmm Anybody know if a stock crossflow could compete with a Merc 200? It's really about getting the best deal and having a reliable motor that is still competitive. |

Sounds good Greg. It may be a while before I get it ready, but I'm looking forward to it! Either way, I need to check out Allison Wonderland one of these days |

Not sure Boomer? What about weight? If it's cheap and reliable I'm interested in that option... plus there are some guys on here that know a thing or two about them! |
