Hey guys I thought I'd finally introduce myself, my name's James and I'm fairly new to the site. Ive got a small place in muskoka and hope to come out next season to all the meets and start exploring other lakes in Ontario. My first boat was an older 18' charger DL with a 200 optimax. It was tons of fun chine walking up and down the lake but it's time to upgrade! With that being said, I've decided to build an STV pro comp sprint bottom rig with a local Canadian builder. After reading about 5 years worth of posts and scanning through hundreds of pictures I've decided to go with all composite materials for this build. Im still debating using marine ply for the transom and knees but the floor and stringers will be Coosa bluewater 26 and Nida-Core will be used to strengthen everywhere else. Ill be posting pictures and updating the build as we go. I appreciate all the help I've gotten so far and look forward to the upcoming months as this little black sheep all comes together.

Here are some pics so far..

I really like the lines and colours you picked out.
Any idea what the expected weight will be?

Thanks! I wanted a classic look simple and clean. I really have no idea what it's going to weigh - maybe between 600-700lbs with interior etc

The deck just needs polishing, bottom is almost finished and the Nida Core and Coosa turned out great. It's totally sealed and rock solid.
