That's gonna be its cruising speed. All kidding aside we have had a blast busting big money boats with these little boats and are a blast to drive

Its been a while and I was kind of bored so I figured I'd post some updates. I was busy over the christmas break working on this thing and definitely didn't get as far as I wanted too but getting all the core out of the boat was a nightmare -- there was so much of it. There was a full plywood core from pad to chine. There was also some balsa tossed in there too in some areas. All of it was wet. Back at school now so not much will be getting finished but its all prepped for new material to go in when I finish in April, and I hope to get it in the water sooner rather than later following that. I've round up some pretty much all I'm going to need to get this thing going. Its pretty light too.

Here's how it looked when I first picked the boat up:

Here it as after about a couple days work with a grinder and chisel...

Then after about a weeks worth of grinding...

I can't wait to see it start going back together. This will be an awesome package once it's done.

Still most likely going with the 2.0L. I think it'll be the best fit for the boat. Theres lots that can be done to it.

Looking good! Are you making a bulkhead? Stringers? putting core back in? Wood or composite?
I would love to take on a project like this someday... The 2L is going to be awesome!!

Looking good atleast you got the grinding part over with, now the fun part, i think i had saw a 13 foot allison with the core materials like the stuff you removed, it also had balsa under the deck, you may want to look for that and see if its still good
