Well Dudes and Dudettes I have been tardy in getting around to this and will post some pics now as I go but I am with signifcant help from the Yamaha MRS speed shop building a 2.6 L Yamaha. I drank the kool aid a long time ago now so it is time for a Yamaha repower as some have seen my cosmetically looking turd hanging off my DL.

I purchased over a year ago now a blown up 1991 Carb 225 donor motor with a nice viewing window into Cylinder #6. The motor is stripped and a new block sourced. Plans are as follows;

1. Mild porting
2. Just maybe some Hydro Tec heads
3. CCM reeds
4. Coned lower, likely a JC
5. 2000ish VMAX cowl to update the appearances (likely good for 2 mph too right? LOL!)

And who knows what else that might show up at the MRS rad shop. I am not holding my breath it will be together this summer, the problem with having another running motor!!

Updates as it goes now.

It'll come together quick once all the pieces are ready...don't you worry. We'll just have to build it between nap times and feedings (that's if you bring Mitch....:) )

I know it will go quick once the pieces are set. No rush though. Looking forward to it!

Nothing like pulling the girls on the tube behind a motor with MAD EFI... Just saying. That would be cool.
