I bet around high threes to 400hp , if they can make it work in a marine application would be the question. wonder what rpm thay big turbo starts to work at? |

I think if they did it to a Yamaha it would work .... But you'd need a two speed transmission for sure.. |

Yep , a neat idea but didn't last more then a couple passes at a time. With it being hard to adjust timing a fuel via boost reference it only made for a cool attempt. Now with todays ECU's it could work if the components were built to take it Sure would've been cool to hear I bet. |

I think I still have the Land & Sea catalogue with that on the front cover. Very cool concept, and like Yammer said, with today's technologies it may work...and it would sound phuqing cool!!! |

There's no reason they couldn't get it to work today. The 2-stroke turbo sleds seem to work well now so there should be some tech transfer there....but...aside from it being super cool there is the why factor what with the power from today's drag motors and NOS. Dumptruck turbo's ain't cheap lol. |

Wonder how long until we see a turbo again. I know in our drag car shit the turbo technology is pretty f'n easy now a days .... as well as mentioned in sleds too. Doc , if you still have that catalog thats cool. Wonder if that part number is still good . . hahaah |
