Mark, Tom and i got togther for some prop testing, lunch , and a run in the afternoon on Buckhorn . Thanks again to Mark and Janet for the hospitality. It was a great day of running, not to mention I found my prop for next season ( I think Tom did too!). Steve |

15 1/8" dia 27p solas scorpion, new out of the box way better than anything so far, best prop Tom has had on his dl too. it didn't lose bite at full lift on mine( 8" back even with the pad) or on Toms either.81.6mph gps with half tank and Tom shotgun, and just under 85mph solo.acceleration was better than anything I have tried on the ae. it looks like a cross between a yammi performance xl series and v max. The only thing we found is the exhaust bleed holes are too small John at Buckhorn has the tooling to machine the prop for the Mercury plugs, I'm having him do that to mine. The prop really seems to bite well, for sure best bang for the buck so far.I'm going to try and squeeze in a little more setback with my existing steering cables as well for next season.
