There are still many of us that like the mercury 650X/650XS & the 700X motors. The X versions with the speedmaster gearcase are rare and props for them are difficult to locate. The production version of the 35-70 hp 3 and 4 cylinder models all use the same midsection. You can change the motor base plate and tuner to mount any of the different powerheads. Question is... will a 650X/700X base plate and tuner mount of a 44XS midsection?. Example: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... decbfe79ee It would make a good combo. |
