Thinking of a smaller boat up to 40hp for my 12 year old son. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on a GlenL TNT? There are a couple on our lake that seem pretty cool but my concern is being made of wood and maybe being a little small. Boat would also be left in the water all summer. Should I instead be looking for a Voodoo or something similar that is fiberglass and put a 40hp on it? Thanks for any info. |

I ran a tnt when I was young..9-12 I think. Then I bought a voodoo...IMO while the TNT was lots of fun, the voodoo is a much better choice...and he can grow with it just by adding power.. |

Good advice above, lad will grow up quick. Voodoo's tonnage rated for 3 chicks, 5 beer cases, 3 40oz, and wasted Dad reliving youth. Disclaimer: I do not condone driving under influence, unprotected sex, limiting life partner to any single gender, race, creed, color, religion....damn, I know I missed something. |

The Voodoo that performance rec had for sale for the last year or so went for $4600+25% at auction earlier this week. Just an FYI I'd still be lookin at a little Alli..... But I'm kinda biased..... |

I would love to find a little Ally to go with my GSE. Which what were the details on the Voodoo? There is a huge price swing on any that come up for sale. |

There are a few low cost small Sidewinders with the origin front seats on Kijiji as well. Not a cool as a VooDoo, but they do run with both a small motor or larger motors. |

All the Sidewinders on kijiji seem to have at least 75hp on them. Too much for my son. I didn't see any small ones without a motor. Sidewinders do seem to be reasonably priced though and are pretty cool. |
