Post subject:  L/U Refinish & Epoxy - '84 2ThirstyFive - Carrier pinning

Well guys, i've had some spare time to refinish the
l/u of the two thirsty five (holy christ it drinks 94 :shock: lol.

Using West Coast epoxy we've refinished the nose cone to
the primer stage and are about to pin the carrier from
directions found on SCR&FLY. It won't look so nasty by Friday
night. I'll post pics by then. It's a process, but well worth the
effort. :D

We're considering buying a cottage on Barry's Bay, just down the river a bit.
So we might run Haliburton next season if everything goes thru.

do your motor a favour, run 91, the 94 octane pump gas is oxiginated shit filled with ethanol up here and should not be run in any two stroke. I have more friends that blew up sled motors on that crap ..... its like leaning up a few jet sizes.

Thanks As..I was wondering with 90+psi across the board...but all the damned OMC myths saying 93+ ....

I ran mid grade in my omc with the 809 heads (88psi compression) before going to the high compression heads. save yourself some dough.

at 90 psi - you sure don't need 94 oct. You could run 87, but 91 is fine too. You could actually be causing some problems for yourself.
