To help promote T Classes, I am thinking of having a display of T class related items both new and used in the base ball area. I would have a brand new Critchfield there promoting Top Gun.
Hopefully Gig could have some of his parts to show. Others with stuff to sell could also have it there. The other part would have information as to where to get repair material etc and people to connect with. We need to take advantage of the Interest in T we see at Gravenhurst!

Some may bring their boats to Gravenhurst to sell them. Scott Whittington was able to sell his Speed Cat there a few years ago.

There are a few people looking for project T boats as Jeremy mentioned. Good time to maybe up grade your T outfit. As Jake said these are some very good T boats.

Since I forgot about Kevin's boat at Top Guns.
It is an original Danny Critchfield boat not a splash copy.
Paul was asking $3000.00 as I recall.

I heard from a few people. They will be bringing some boats for display and others boats for sale. For those with parts to sell especially Yamaharude powertrim, mid-sections, nitro cases, props, steering parts, safety gear this would been a good place for you.

There will also be TECH support people there for info on rules and inspectors to advise on engine specs. I plan on bringing my fresh rebuilt OMC T750 there and have the inspectors approve it and SEAL it. That will? eliminate the need for the tear down inspections after the motor is raced. To have your motor pre-inspected is NOT a T rule and it may not stop an inspector from doing a tear down. What is does do is provide peace of mind that you know and so do your competitors know that the motor is legal.

Here is a refresher about T750 and T850 classes racing in Gravenhurst.
Both T750 and T850 are ALTERED STOCK classes.
Racers take a factory stock outboard and make it more durable and more racy.
To make it more durable..the rules allow
- they can blue print the powerhead
- they can balance the crank and rods
- they can weld modular cranks
- they can install plastic reeds

To make it more racy....make some more power and increase the operating range to over 7000 rpm
-they can increase the compression to 160 lbs maximum
-they can run any tuner
-they can have exhaust holes in the lower unit
-they can match port the motor
-they can change the carb jets
-they can run a nose cone and modify the water pick ups
-they run any style of prop

So that is the result?
T750 has to be the lowest cost class to race in CBF.
Motors are very low cost and there are lots of parts available.
The speed has increased over the last 2 years.
It is easy to get 55 mph with little effort and be competitive.
The top runners are in the 60 mph range. IMPRESSIVE!!

T850 use the same hulls as T750 but they are WILDER!! AND FASTER!!
Acceleration, tons of air time, they are like a stock car/drag car.
Lots of noise and for most fans, the reason they came to watch the races.
