I've decided to put a new tank in the Scarab as long as I'm tearing it apart (see project thread). I've got some good price quotes from the states, but wanted to double-check local welders too. I haven't been able to find much using Google - any suggestions for somebody in Ontario who can make a nice custom aluminum tank ? Thanks, Matt |

TORC safety/patrol boat driver Dave Roeterink has demonstrated exceptional welding skills. He might take this on. I've seen a couple of his stock outboard tanks, welds are like bead of pearls, custom design. He's used nice Al threaded neck caps. He's in Miss, has strong custom design foresight. Let me know here if interested, i'll put u together.' US$ option doesn't make sense if you have cost effective C$ alternative. |
