Can't lake simcoe be extremely rough? how well do your boats run on that lake especially if you boys got v-hulls. I'm used little chop on chandos lake north kawarthas.

Dude! I was out on southern Georgian bay this past weekend. Nice southerly winds were forecast and wouldn't you know it they were out of the south when I launched. After about an hour of easy running before I knew it the winds shifted to the north and I was in 2-3 foot waves with white caps  Not fun in my little boat lol! I have been on Simcoe as a kid. Like most big water and little boats - pick your days....

on a saturday its a 25mph day in my 21ft boat... but during the week i have been 110 i'm my old rocket for 6Kms.. wind is usually coming from the north west so when you stick around barrie on windy days its not bad..

rouge waves you have to look out for any time your out..
