Hello all, I just joined the group as an interested bystander. Dad and I raced OB Hydros and Runabouts in the 50's and 60's. I have worn out the Teeker stuff and wanted to see what is being done with more "modern" stuff. I will be looking for a 13-14 deep vee hull like a T boat to setup to use as a ski/tube towboat for two boys in my care. I live on North shore Lake Erie (Colchester Harbour). Not much around here of boats like that. They may be rotting in backyards somewhere. Thanks for letting me join your group. |

Welcome aboard! You have come to the right place if you are looking for a T boat even for a runabout. Folks are always posting what is for sale in the backyards of Ontario. Enjoy! |

We will have ThunderCats on display at Devonshire Mall in March next year. Plenty of us nearby in Michigan with local race events also. We have free first year safety gear for new racers. some links with pictures below. There are also a couple used rigs nearby for sale. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2496 https://www.facebook.com/thundercatracingna http://www.youtube.com/user/88voodoo |

Welcome to the forum Answers to all your questions are here. Do some searches, ask some questions, someone here will have "been there, done that". Not to beat the previous comments to death but you really should look at an Aquarius Thunder Cat for your purposes. Can't get enough of mine. Great handling boat, never dull, can fulfill any number of uses. If I lived on Erie I'd definitely own one, handles waves like a champ. |
