Has anybody had any experience with diy carbon fibre reed valves? buying a sheet of carbon fibre and cutting out your own? I was thinking of buying some of these sheets and cutting them out. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360936775267 ... 1423.l2649 Yes I have tried to buy them [from chris carson marine] with no luck so don't make that suggestion. |

I've dealt with Tony Doukas with good results. If you want to give buying reeds another shot... http://www.bansheedepot.com/categories.asp?cat=29 Tony talked to me for a long time to fully determine my needs...and actually recommended against carbon. It did take a couple of calls but it was worth it. |
