Hey guys,

I'm New to this board, just wanted to say hello. Been reading for a while, great info and awesome pics. Here's a bit of info on my current boat situation

I currently have a 1979 19' jcraft, i'm looking to go bigger with my next one. Would like to be able to handle the rough stuff a bit better!

I'm looking for a 21 challenger, superboat love the classic lines and sleek look. Been doing my research, i know there is a Canadian edition by Ron mander...how do they compare to the US ones Long Island etc.. Do they both have the exact same deck as I prefer the ss steel railing that ties in to the cleats compared to the window.

I plan a full restoration on what I end up getting.

The one in the pic is in Alberta.. I guess they are all over lol

Max

usa challengers have a reputation of being built better.... but when your doing a complete rebuild i would be more worried about the appearance of the challenger your looking at.. because when you gut the boat and re build it the build quality is now up to you.

You're looking at great hulls. Challenger, superboat, scorpion, Tuff... All nice. If I heard right, one of V8's neighbours is looking to get rid of his Suzuki powered scorpion. Maybe he can chime in, and correct me if I'm wrong lol.... Where abouts are you max??

It runs well

PM me and I can hook you up with Woods. Not sure if He's on here or not. V8 is though. He's knows more about it than me.

I'm in Ottawa, mostly boat at the cottage in Quebec and on the Ottawa river.

Is the scorpion a direct splash? Was the hull modified? Looks good, I'm not really a fan of those windshields though :)

James, if i need to restore it I'm basing my budget on some of the info you provided me with. Thanks again.

If I find a deal like the challenger you sold...I'll end up going that route.
