Everytime I open up my motor, I wonder what the fuck Yamaha was thinking making a cowl that weighs a thousand lbs. Does anyone make a light weight cowl for thw yamaha Pro-V's? I understand its good to keep some of the noise down.but I strain everytime I take it off..Thats gotta be killing a few mph on its own haha (at least that's my current excuse why I haven't found the 70's yet!!)

Hydro-tec makes a lightweight cowl...or you can run the HPDI cowl.

The one I have is on my engine. I do have an extra pan though if you find a hood.

I have a HydroTec lightweight upper and lower for 2.6
Needs a little work for perfection ( top has a scar that needs some glass work then paint ) but would sell it if you're interested.

Let me know as I may list it for sale. Just sold my Yama-Drag power head so won't be using this now.

I've got an Excel Cowl that I have prepped for new graphics. I don't have the pan, but know where there is one I might be able to get a hold of.
The cowl would need paint and graphics, or a wrap (what I was planning)

If someone is actually interested, PM or email me and we can chat about options

The graphics could customized to the purchasers taste
