Post subject:  NEWBIE looking for some help ......

Hi all.. i am new to the site so be nice ;) .. i just picked up a boat and the owner did not know what kind it was...looking for any help on IDENTIFYING it ..
16ft 115 merc....

No Pad... bench style seats in the back ......i wish it was a baja

doesn't look like your typical 16' j craft to me, but who knows ,, isnt there an id tag on the transom somewhere ?

is that a trim switch on the steering wheel i see :) ? must be a handful to drive :lol: have you had it out? i had a 115 merc on my 15x baja it was pretty fun while it lasted ;)

It really looks like a checkmate with a sidewinder deck....

Looks like a sidewinder but it would have to be a 14 footer with that deck style. It's definitely not a Jcraft
