this is the bad one, please sit down. take a deep breath... this is grandma annes boat
.
this weekend i went to the st. lawrence with my friend to help his wifes grandma open her cottage on an island,, we arrived at the marina where she parks her boat, loaded it up and started out to the island we made it about half way and the motor started to miss then die out luckily we made it to the cottage.. in the morning i had a look fuel filter wasnt bad,oil was good,, i pulled the plugs, #2 cylinder was light, the other 3 were gold brown :s.. i noticed when i was removing the wires the #2 seemed loose like it wasnt snapped on all the way,, and when i put them back on it didnt seem to snap on as well as the other 3.. so figured maby the plug wire was bad, motor fired right up but as soon as it was under a load started missing again,, so we had to get a tow home today and didn't go fishing
cottage is open for grandma, BUT mechanic cant look at her boat untill monday, what really concerns me is the marina was supposed to have serviced the motor, plugs looked old, filter wasnt terrible but didnt look like it was JUST cleaned the day before.
. grandma anne lives alone on this island now, she just lost her husband last winter so i worried things aren't getting done by the marina because peter isnt there to tell them what needs to be done :s ill keep you posted.. i really hope they can fix it for her properly.
