Hey guys it's that time where i finally shift from sleds to boats and thought I would post what I picked up in November or december last year. I picked up a 1970 or 71 evinrude surf 60 short shaft with hydroshift. Real strong runner, it was on a 14 foot Allison that was waterlogged to about 58 mph, it's got about 160 compression across the board. I was thinking about throwing it on the 13 checky but wasn't sure if my 75 is setup better. The other thought was to off the 13 to get a 13 chritchfield or delta for better overall performance. Any thoughts? I'll post more tomorrow if we don't lose power from the so called storm thats rolling through tonight lol |

The 14r was sold to another buddy and restored with a v4 evinrude 100 hp I believe. It came out great, my dads sign guy from work made up the decal, installed them and clear coated it over top. Thanks guys, it's gonna look cool on the delta. |
