Thanks Guys! :D
We were incredibly lucky that it even made it to shore. We had hooked it with an anchor by the docking rope that was tied to the dash. :?

This is one of the coolest stories in the history of the internet. Thanks for sharing and documenting.

Thanks...nice video and story that brought back some old memories.I have a video posted of the 1986 Dunnville race and was running my 72 Delta#302...In 1982 I blew it over and never could find it...A buddy of mine keep looking with his fish finder and even did some dragging but no luck...Then 2 years 4 months 17 days later he found something and marked it and we got together the next weekend to check it out...The water was about 60 ft. deep so he put on his scuba gear and went down to see what he had and sure enough it was the old Delta...He put a bigger line on it and we drug it to the state park and pulled her out and loaded her on a trailer and took her to the shop...still had the inflated 10.00 20 tube under the deck...so much for that idea...Over the winter we went thru the motor/cleaned every thing up and put in new rings and bearings and fired her up...The Delta got a new transom and bracing plus a new paint job and we ran it at Dunnville 85,86 ......If you looked close at the motor cowl,it was a little bit different shade of blue than it used to be...last time I saw that motor Brian Rodway was running it....Jim
