In your early twenties most of us set goals for toys. One day in the not to distant future you would own that model of car or boat. You worked hard to earn the money to buy one. Yes, they were costly and most times you started off with a lesser model or a used one. But, you eventually got one.
My goal was to own a new corvette. It took 3 years to save up the money to purchase it in 1970. It was a new 350 LT1 coupe Ontario Bronze color.
Today prices are ridiculous compared to people’s income. I couldn’t dream of ever owning a corvette.
